About Us

Hello, and welcome to my store! My name is Susan, and I am the owner of Bugjeweled, and the designer of all of the products in the store.

I have long had a passion for crafting and creating. I started designing jewelry in 2005 as a hobby and began giving my creations to family and friends as gifts. Soon,  I was selling to others through word-of-mouth. In 2007, I began to sell my creations at local craft fairs. I wanted a name for my brand that was creative and fun, and with the help of a friend, the name “Bugjeweled” was established. 

In 2008, with the help of my husband, I began designing this website and online store.  For having no initial knowledge of how to do anything related to a website, other than look at one, we sure have learned a lot!

I  have been blessed with two beautiful children and wonderful husband who supports me in my endeavors.

About My Designs

All of my jewelry pieces are handcrafted by me with high quality beads and findings. I use Swarovski crystals and pearls, freshwater pearls, semi-precious gemstone, and glass lampwork beads, and sterling silver and gold-filled beads and components obtained from reputable sources. 

My signature lucky ladybug charm comes on all of my necklace and bracelet pieces. Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved ladybugs and my jewelry creations are the perfect way to share my love for everything ladybugs!
